Marketing is the first domain Puglisi Consulting reviews, and it carries the longest record. Before AI, that work crossed very different markets, from a local plumbing supply house in Brooklyn to a large corporation speaking to new parents. Each project began with a message and a plan, then used video to carry that message to the audience that mattered.
Events: The Parents and Baby Expo, B2B
This commercial sold the Parents and Baby Expo to businesses rather than to families. A B2B video has to answer the first question every exhibitor asks, which is whether the room will hold the buyers worth the cost of a booth.
Local Service: Petri Plumbing and Heating Supply, Brooklyn, B2C
This video for Petri Plumbing and Heating Supply, a local service business in Brooklyn, New York, was made in conjunction with Patch.com. Local B2C marketing works when the message reaches the neighborhood that can actually pick up the phone, and a hyperlocal news partner put it there.
Legal: A Riverhead Law Firm, B2C
This direct sales commercial was made for lawyers in Riverhead, New York, on the other side of Long Island from the Brooklyn plumbing supply. A direct sales spot speaks straight to the consumer and asks for the call, so every second of it has to earn its place.
Corporate: Cryo-Cell, Talk Show Format
Produced for the Parents and Baby Expo, this marketing video for Cryo-Cell, a large corporation, used a TV show format. A one-to-one interview in an infomercial style, set like a talk show, gave a big brand the warmth of a conversation while the message stayed on plan.
The Message Comes First
In this one-minute talk, Basil describes social media as a communication tool that works like a microphone. It amplifies a message without being the message, so a brand with no message amplifies nothing, or worse, the wrong image. That is why every project on this page started with a plan and a strategy.
AI works the same way, as a tool that amplifies the work rather than one that replaces the plan behind it. The questions from these projects now apply to AI marketing. Does the plan make sense, does the spend show up in numbers the business trusts, and who owns each claim? Those questions sit behind the AI Strategy and Readiness Review, the AI ROI and Value Review, and the AI Governance and Liability Audit.
