Traveling with your baby can be as easy as 1-2-3, don’t be that parent on board!!! https://www.facebook.com/awestruckT…
- Pack your essentials, pre plan and prioritize. Know how many bags you can take with you, save $$$ on overhead bags, fly around nap time, and see what items you can purchase at your destination. I find that bringing my own diapers and wipes are the most cost effective.
- Take your baby’s car seat. It is the safest approach while flying. Use a FAA approved child restraint, such as https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R3KXSP…
- Nurse, Pump and Feed your baby right where you are. Carry a hand pump in your diaper bag, 2-4oz of expressed milk or formula. Prepare ready to feed bottles prior to boarding and ask your flight attendant for a cup of hot water to warm your bottles. Ask in advance for seating for you and your baby, passengers will be more than happy to accommodate yours and their flying experience. Ask to sit near the aisle seat so that you may have easier access to the rest room. For long flights, take a break and schedule a pit stop where you can refresh you and your baby, and visit a nursing pad. ***TIP*** Booking flights with stops will help you save money for the car seat ticket.
